Nicole Monroe carries the heart of a child and a passion for God into all she writes. As a farm girl, her imagination runs wild through the pastures as she rides and falls off her horse, feeds the goats and their bottomless stomachs, and tries to stay on Clarence the rooster’s good side. She is the proud aunt of almost more nieces and nephews than she has fingers. When she’s not spoiling her favorite people in the world, she is creating stories for children that engage the senses and bring God’s creatures to life.

Nicole’s bachelor’s degree in music helps shape her stories and gives them rhythm and movement. She has written for numerous publications, including Focus on the Family’s Clubhouse Junior and Starlight Magazine. She was a finalist for the OCW Cascade Awards and has won six awards for her stories from FCW Conference. She belongs to SCBWI, Word Weavers, and Inspire Christian Writers. Nicole spends her time on her hobby farm and survives the cold winters of northern Illinois with cups of cacao and lots of snuggles with her ball of fluff sheepadoodle. She finds time to spend with her seven nieces and nephews making sure she stays their favorite aunt.
